The conference organized by the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Embassy in Prague offered to 50 Americans and 150 Europeans conference attendees keynote speakers, professional development workshops, and cross-disciplinary panel discussions across the three dialogue themes. One presentation was “90 Minutes with RFE/RL”, a regular monthly discussion by Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty and U.S. Embassy Prague, this time focused on Chechnya, which generated spirited discussion among participants.
To continue the impact of the dialogue, Conference participants will propose follow-on projects that include cross-disciplinary and transatlantic partnering. A total of $90,000 will be available for distribution to the award-winning group projects for which the U.S. Department of State will consider partial or full funding.
