Instructions for J1 Work and Travel visa applicants:

In order to apply for J1 Work and Travel visa:

  • Fill out online and then print the EVAF DS 156 form.
  • Make a visa appointment on the Internet.
  • Bring all printed pages of EVAF DS 156, form DS 2019 and confirmation on scheduled appointment date to the appropriate Student Agency.
  • Student Agency makes copies of all above mentioned documents. Student Agency guarantees to fix the picture of applicant on the copy of his/her DS 156.
  • Student agency brings the copies of all required documents to the Embassy 4 days prior the appointment date at least.
  • Student brings the originals of EVAF DS 156 with picture, DS 157, DS 158, DS 2019 and confirmation about SEVIS payment  on the day of his/her appointment date.
  • Student brings all other supporting documents like transcript and confirmation about study.

Please, pay the close attention when filling all the forms.
