U.S. Ambassadors will Deliver the Pittsburgh Agreement to the Czech Senate

Prague, September 24, 2008

On September 29 at 2:00 p.m. U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia Vincent Obsitnik and U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic  Richard Graber will together present to the Chairman of the Czech Senate Přemysl Sobotka the Pittsburgh Agreement that paved the way for the creation of an independent Czechoslovakia.  The document, on loan from the Senator John Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will be on display at the Czech Senate until the end of October. It will be the highlight of a larger exhibition devoted to the process leading to the creation of Czechoslovakia.
