Standing Room Only at American  Center Open House

February 14, 2008

The U.S. Embassy hosted a February 12 American Citizens Open House at the American Center.  Ambassador Graber greeted the more than 250 guests and introduced a panel of experts staffing booths. 

Democrats Abroad and Republicans Abroad registered voters; consular staff tackled citizenship and social security totalization questions; and a Ministry of Interior representative responded to dozens of inquiries on the significance of Schengen expansion for U.S. citizens residing in the Czech Republic.

Attendees enjoyed  meeting Ambassador Graber and consular staff, as well as the opportunity to mingle with each other.
