Seminar for Teachers: Media and School

The American Center hosted a seminar Children and Media on June 15 with the goal of presenting and discussing research data on media behavior of pupils and students of elementary and secondary schools. The seminar which was co-organized by the U.S. Embassy Prague, the J.W. Fulbright Commission, and the Sociological Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, raised questions about the influence of various media upon the lives of young people and their approach to education.
