"Junior Ambassadors" Press Event

Prague, February 22

The U.S. Embassy will sponsor a "Junior Ambassadors" program designated for Czech high school students on Monday, February 26.  The aim of the project is that the potential leaders get learn more about diplomacy and the work of an embassy.  In a pilot project, ten selected students will visit U.S. Embassy Prague and spend time in each section.  They will have the opportunity to ask the diplomats about issues of interest.  The participants will also meet and talk with U.S. Ambassador Richard W. Graber.

A press opportunity is scheduled at the conclusion of the pilot program on Monday, February 26 from 6 p.m. till 6:30 p.m. in the Residence of the U.S. Ambassador (Dr. Zikmunda Wintera 3, Prague 6).  Ambassador Graber, students, members of the Embassy and representatives of the cooperating organizations – the American Chamber in the Czech Republic (AmCham), nine Prague rotarian clubs and the International School of Prague will be present at the Residence.
