Dryers from Boeing Will be Donated to the City of Pribram

Prague, September 11, 2002 

The Czech headquarters of US aviation manufacturer Boeing Corporation responded to the call for further flood relief by contributing to the purchase of dryers need countrywide following the recent floods. In cooperation with the Foreign Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy, Boeing agreed to donate air blowers and WAP machines worth CZK 450,000 to the city of Pribram. U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Kenneth Hillas and Boeing General Director Earl Godby will donate the equipment, which is already being used, to Pribram Mayor Josef Vacek. The official ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 12, at 9:30 a.m. at the Pribram Town Hall.
