Overseas Citizens Garden Event

When: June 30, 2008, 5 p.m.
Where: Embassy’s First Garden

The U.S. Embassy’s Consular Section is hosting an Overseas Citizens Garden Event on June 30th from 5 to 7 pm in the Embassy’s First Garden. All American citizens, especially those resident long term in the Czech Republic, are encouraged to attend. The open house will feature information on absentee voting procedures, consular services offered to American citizens in the Czech Republic (including passport, notary, and immigration services), as well as updates on federal benefits.

The Embassy has invited the American Association of Residents Overseas, as well as representatives from Democrats and Republicans Abroad, to talk about voting and the challenges of living overseas. The Ambassador will also be on hand to welcome attendees and meet members of the American community living and working in the Czech Republic. We hope to welcome you to the U.S. Embassy’s First Garden on June 30th from 5-7 pm. Questions may be directed to acsprague@state.gov.
