Office of Defense Attache

General Information

The Defense Attache develops military-to-military relationships with the Czech Armed Forces, provides advice on military matters to the U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic, and represents the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the U.S. military services in the Czech Republic. The DAO also assists the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic with bilateral programs to help modernize systems and improve interoperability with NATO.

The Defense Attache at the American Embassy in Prague is Col. Timothy Lindemann.
