Acting U/S Rood Visits Prague for Another Round of Negotiations

Acting Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security John C. Rood was in Prague November 5-6 for continued negotiations related on U.S.-Czech missile defense cooperation.  Speaking with the press at the conclusion of two full days of discussions, Czech and U.S. negotiators indicated the talks would resume in mid-December. Rood stressed, “The U.S. remains committed to the completion of the negotiations to place a missile defense radar in the Czech Republic and to the establishment of that radar.”
