U.S. Companies Showcase Their Products at IDET Defense and Security Fair in Brno

Eight U.S. companies will showcase their products at the IDET, second largest defense and security fair in Europe. This biennial show held May 10—13, 2011 in Brno is the unique place for U.S. companies to showcase their products and technology, and to reach a wide audience from the region as well gain insight into market potential and competition.

In a booth co-organized by CS Prague and OTEXA, Textile and Apparel Section of Department of Commerce, products and product literature of these U.S. companies will be displayed:

• Wild Things, a  producer of mountaineering apparel and gear for the US military
• Propper International, an official manufacturer of uniforms for the U.S. Department of Defense has  produced over 75 million garments for the U.S. Military. 
• Magic Textiles, a supplier of military fabrics for the last 25 years to the U.S. Dept of Defense as well as to MOD’s around the world.
• Apex Mills, a leading supplier of warp knit fabrics for military, commercial and industrial applications.
• Ansell Hawkeye, a principal supplier of tactical and utility gloves to the US Department of Defense
• Bates Footwear, a leading supplier of boots to U.S. military
• Duro Textiles, production, distribution and sales of MultiCam print fabrics
• Protective Products Enterprises, designer and manufacturer of the art concealable and tactical body armor

IDET 2011 is a great opportunity to meet high level representatives from the Czech Government, Czech Army, military delegations from NATO and candidate countries, as well as leading experts on trends in the industry. Six hundred companies from 35 countries will showcase their products this year.
