How to Pay Fees

Visa fees are collected only in the Consular section of the U.S. Embassy at the time of the interview. The Consular section will accept fees in the form of US Dollars and Czech Koruna. Unfortunately we do not accept credit cards. We would appreciate exact change to assist in simplifying the payment process.

The fee structure for N.I. visas is as follows:

As the Czech Republic is a member of the Visa Waiver Program, travelers should keep in mind that a visa is not required for short-term business or tourist travel of up to 90 days for Czech citizens with biometric passports who have received an approval to travel using the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). Messenger fee for delivery of the passport with visa

Visa applicants have to pay for the delivery of their passports with issued visas by the Express Parcel System (EPS) messenger service. The fee has to be paid directly at the Ceska Sporitelna bank or by money order at the Czech Post office. The money order and the bank order forms are available at the U.S. Embassy lobby. The passport number should be quoted as the variable symbol.  Because the service is provided by EPS and is not an Embassy-provided service, it is not possible to pay at the U.S. Embassy for the messenger service.
