The American Center, the Patton Memorial in Pilsen and the geocaching club "GC-Pilsen" have come together to offer you an unusual way to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the U.S. 3rd Army’s liberation of West Bohemia.

What do we mean, exactly? Think of it like a family treasure hunt… or a sport… or hiking.  It’s a little bit of all of those! Geocaching connects outdoor activities with the Internet – and in our case, with history. Learn all about geocaching by visiting www.geocaching.com.   

The series entitled "U.S. Army, 1945" includes 7 geocaches that follow the path the General George Patton’s 3rd U.S. Army took in liberating West and South Bohemia in the last weeks of World War II.
