On 21 July 1969, those words by Neil Armstrong to a breathless world forever changed the way people view their place in the universe. The American Center will devote the whole month of July to programs marking the anniversary of Apollo 11’s historic Moon landing.
Please join us at the American Center for a lecture by leading Czech space-program experts, along with special exhibitions and dramatic new NASA video documentaries recounting the story of the quest for space. Jan Kolář, Antonín Vítek and Karel Pacner, Czech experts on the space program who witnessed the Apollo 11 launch, will offer a multimedia program about the experience.
