Junior Ambassadors at the Glorietta

Embassy Partners with Rotary and Welcomes Fourth Group of Junior Ambassadors

In a continuation of the Embassy’s successful cooperation with Rotary Club Czech Republic, we welcomed on April 24 our fourth group of Junior Ambassadors. These high school students are nominated by their local Rotary Club chapters on the basis of their academic achievements, extra-curricular activities and community involvement. 

As future leaders, we invite them  -- and their Rotary Sponsors -- for a day of briefings on Embassy activities, including political-economic, military, consular and public affairs. The students are recognized by Ambassador Graber as Junior Ambassadors and presented with a certificate. This group, hailing from north Moravia, east Bohemia and north Bohemia, was honored with a luncheon at the Ambassador’s residence. The students and sponsors also toured the American Center and finished off the exciting day with a hike up the Embassy’s back garden to the Glorietta to enjoy the beautiful weather and 360-degree view of Prague.
