Discussion and Press Conference with IMBA Director Mike Van Abel 

Prague, May 18, 2009 – The American Center (Tržiště 13, Praha 1) is organizing  on Tuesday, May 26 at 11 am. a press conference and discussion with International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) Executive Director Mike Van Abel who will present his vision of the newly established IMBA Europe.

Czech Mountain Bicycling Association (ČeMBA) Director Tomáš Kvasnička will then explain benefits of the new European organization for Czech terrain bikers and legendary Welsh single track designer Dafydd Davis will show how emerging network of bike trails in Jizerské Mountains fits in this strategy. Liberec Regional Forest Management Director Ludvík Řičář  and Nové Město pod Smrkem Mayor will also come to discuss the issue.

Van Abel is coming to the Czech Republic to attend IMBA Europe Opening Meeting that will take place in Bedřichov, Jizerské Mountains May 21-25. The event is co-organized by ČeMBA and IMBA with the support of the U.S. Embassy in the Czech Republic and SRAM and Merida Corporations.
