Czech Buildings Go Green
September 18, 2009 — On Tuesday September 15, 2009, the Czech Green Building Council (CzGBC) was founded with a festive afternoon meeting at the National Technical Library and a subsequent reception at the Residence of the U.S. Ambassador in Prague. The Czech Green Building Council is a non-profit association encouraging the market, educational, and legislative conditions necessary to promote high performance construction that is both sustainable and profitable.
The Council will introduce and implement a green building certification to ensure market transformation and the rapid development of the green building segment which will recognize exemplary projects.
