Gold Key Service - Questionnaire
In order for our Gold Key Service to be a success for you, we need your assistance. Please respond to the following questions via fax (fax number: +420 2 5753 1165):
- Please describe what your product is, how you are selling it in other international markets and who are its end users. Also, what is the Harmonized/Schedule B number for your product?
- Please provide pricing information for your product (please note that this is only for example purposes; we make it clear to all Czech contacts that final pricing decisions are discussed with you during the actual Gold Key meetings).
- Please specify what type of cooperation with Czech companies you are looking for, e.g. sales representative, joint-venture, end-users, etc.
- What types of companies or individuals do you suggest that we contact? Provide details on how an ideal candidate would look (perhaps based on your experience in other countries): size, experience, location, products currently handled etc.
- Is there anything that would immediately disqualify a company?
- Is your product new to the Czech market? Is it distributed in other European markets?
- Do you have any kind of business contacts in the Czech Republic? If so, please specify. Are there any leads we should check out or specific companies you would like to meet?
- Who are your major competitors? Are you price competitive with them?
- When do you plan to visit and do you need hotel information?
- Please send a complete itinerary of your trip prior to your arrival in Prague including fax numbers where you can be reached. Can you always be contacted through your U.S. office?
Please send your prepayment of $500 as well as 15 copies of your company profile, product literature with introductory cover letter and pricing information to the above Tržiště address marked attention: Ed Zawadzki. If you do not have specific pricing information, we at least need some examples to use as one of the first questions usually asked by potential contacts is "How much does it cost?". We always make it clear to the potential contacts that the pricing information is only for example purposes and that all final arrangements would ultimately need to be discussed with you. Also, please mark clearly on the package "No Commercial Value" to avoid a tariff charge. Make sure that we receive this material well in advance of your visit to ensure that we have ample time to distribute it to potential contacts. We discourage sending samples as they can significantly delay delivery due to customs proceedings. You should also avoid sending bulky materials such as binders. Finally, please note that all measurements included in your product literature should be in METRIC.
