Christine Pelosi Leads Seminar in Prague on Political Campaigning

“No matter whether you are a campaign participant of a political party or a non-governmental organization, it must be absolutely clear you believe in your work,” said Christine Pelosi who had a seminar based on her book Campaign Boot Camp at the American Center on October 7.  A political activist and an author of several dozen of successful Senate campaigns, Pelosi is also an ardent promoter of citizens joining public life – through activities in a political party, an NGO, or a community organization  in your neighborhood.

Campaign Boot Camp, a book Christine Pelosi published in 2007 and which will soon have a second edition, is a series of recommendations and know-how meant to enhance a citizens’ participation in public life and win maximum public support.

The seminar participants – NGOs, political representatives, and students – heard suggestions on how to use social media, how important it is to understand the geographic space in which we work, and how to strategically plan public activities.
