Ambassador Graber congratulates all winners 
Ambassador’s Residence Hosts Junior Achievement Graduation Ceremony

The award ceremony for Junior Achievement high school students took place at the Ambassador’s Residence on Wednesday, June 18. Junior Achievement (JA) Czech Republic was founded in 1992 by Thomas J. Bata.

Students, competing as school groups, submitted their projects to JA committees and competed in regional and national competitions. Junior Achievement award prizes were given to the best students in the following categories: Best Banks in Action Team supported by Citibank, Best Management and Economic Simulation Exercise Team supported by Hewlett Packard,  Best Web Page of Student Company supported by Microsoft and Best Student Company supported by Raiffeisen Bank.

Ambassador Graber congratulated all winners and expressed the Embassy’s best wishes to JA Czech Republic on its 15th anniversary. He underscored the important role U.S. firms have played in partnering with JA and setting examples in leadership for young Czech students.
