Ambassador Graber Greets Czech National Sledge Hockey Team en Route to Competition in the U.S.

February 4, 2008

The Czech national sledge hockey team met with Ambassador Graber on February 1 as they received visas to participate in the 2008 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships co-organized by The Massachusetts Hockey, US Paralympics and The International Paralympic Committee.

Consisting of both an A and a B Pool, it will be the largest Sledge Hockey World Championship ever conducted. The tournament will be held March 25 through April 6, 2008 at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro Massachusetts, USA, 26 miles west of Boston.  The Ambassador wished the team well during their visit to the U.S. and success on the hockey rink.
