Ambassador Graber debates with students at the Hilton hotel

Ambassador Graber Addresses over 400 "Model" Students before the NATO Summit

On March 28, Ambassador Graber spoke at the opening of the Student Summit, which brought together more than 400 accomplished students from all over the country to participate in Model NATO, U.N. and the EU.  In his remarks on "The Importance of Euro-Atlantic Partnership", Ambassador Graber spoke about NATO's main tasks for the 21st century and praised the role of the Czechs in Afghanistan.

He also met with students playing the U.S. delegation during Model NATO.  The goals of the Summit were previewing the Bucharest Summit for young student leaders, addressing a large group of students on priorities of U.S. foreign policy agenda; and encouraging independent thinking and exchange of ideas among young people.
