Ambassador Norman L. Eisen Visits RFE/RL

One of the first places Ambassador Norman L. Eisen visited after his arrival, was the headquarters of Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) in Prague.  Besides the senior leadership of RFE/RL, the ambassador also met with the editors and reporters of the Afghanistan Service. 

RFE/RL's Radio Azadi is the leading media outlet in Afghanistan today, reaching 50% of the Afghan population across the country with its radio and internet programs. 

Ambassador Eisen was shown some of the voluminous and often exotic correspondence that Radio Azadi receives from its Afghan listeners.
