Who We Are and What We Do
The American Citizen Services (ACS) office is part of the Consular section of the U.S. Embassy in Prague and provides assistance to U.S. citizens traveling or living in Czech Republic, as well as those petitioning for Czech relatives immigrating to the United States.
Information and services are offered for several issues, including U.S. passports, U.S. citizenship, Children of U.S. Citizens born abroad, Marriage in Czech Republic, Federal Benefits for U.S. Citizens living abroad, and Notarization of documents.
Please note that the staff is not authorized to perform personal tasks for citizens. For example, Consular Officers cannot act as travel agents, banks, interpreters or lawyers.
