24th International Youth Leadership Conference, American Center

On July 24, the American Center hosted session of the 24th International Youth Leadership Conference. Over 60 university students from about 30 different countries attended.

The week long conference is coordinated by Civic Concepts International twice a year. It brings together students from different cultural and ethnic environments and backgrounds that will have a profound impact on their society with an internationally broad mindset.

Student’s panellists gave presentations on current political issues in their home countries. The guest panel speaker Lukáš Sedláček from the European Leadership & Academic Institute gave presentation on NATO’s 2014 withdrawal from Afghanistan.

In the cultural evening program students gathered to present in special showcases their cultural traditions.
