Signing Ceremony of U.S.-Czech Agreement on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Materials and Technologies

Prague, September 14, 2007 

U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic Richard Graber and Industry and Trade Minister of the Czech Republic Martin Riman will sign an Agreement Concerning Cooperation in the Area of Countering the Proliferation of Nuclear Materials and Technologies. 

A press briefing will be organized at 3:15 pm under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The agreement relates to the Global Threat Reduction Initiative (GTRI) aimed at preventing nuclear and radioactive materials from falling into the hands of terrorists.
