U.S. Ambassador Graber at Grand Opening of Honeywell Aerospace Facility in Prague-Chodov

U. S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic Richard W. Graber took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Business Support Center of the Honeywell Aerospace Company in its bureau in the Prague's Chodov on Friday, October 20, 2006.

"Honeywell built their success in the Czech Republic by investing in the next generation of Czech engineers, researchers, and workers.  It was one of the first companies to recognize the research and development potential of the Czech economy and Czech workers. The new Aerospace EMEA Business Support Center, as well as Honeywell’s Prague Laboratory and Global Design Center, are bricks-and-mortar embodiments of that vision," U.S. Ambassador Richard Graber said, highlighting value of U.S.-Czech business partnerships.

The Business Support Center of the Aerospace Honeywell Company will offer functional support for the business operations in Europe, Middle East, and Africa and will employ 475 workers in 2007. The center presents another important investment of an U.S. company in the CR.
