How I Took Photographs of American Writers"

Nancy Crampton.
In over three decades of work as a professional photographer, Nancy Crampton has built a reputation for taking portrait photographs of many of the best known writers of our time.Her book, Writers (Quantuck Lane Press, 2005), is a handsome collection covering four decades and includes William Shawn, the renowned editor of The New Yorker, Norman Mailer, Susan Sontag, James Baldwin and Philip Roth.
The exhibit of more than 40 photographs will be open to the public at the Polish Institute
