Plecnik in Prague: Culture and Religion Europe, 1910-1935

The Office of Public Affairs of the Embassy of the United States of America as the honor to invite you and your colleagues to a seminar with Bruce R. Berglund, Assistant Professor of History at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

At present, Bruce R. Berglund holds a Fulbright-Hays Fellowship from the U.S. Department of Education for research in the Czech Republic and Slovenia.  His previous research has been published in American and British journals as well as the Czech journals Stredni Evropa and Historie a vojenstvi.  An early part of his current project was recognized as the best article in Czech or Slovak history for 2003-04 by the Czechoslovak History Conference.

Berglund is also co-director of the Christianity in Eastern Europe Project, a collaborative effort of scholars from 10 different countries aimed at researching the history of the Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox churches in Central and Eastern Europe during the 20th century.
