Panel Discussion: Czech Democratic Transition as Witnessed by American Expatriates

Sixteen years have passed since the Velvet Revolution

The American Information Center would like to invite you to a panel discussion on the topic „Czech Democratic Transition as Witnessed by American Expatriates“. The event is held on the occasion of the anniversary of the Velvet Revolution and among the panelists will be American professionals from different fields who had the opportunity to witness the Czech transformation process, such as Megan King from People in Need (Člověk v tísni), Weston Stacey (AmCham) or Erik Best (Fleet Sheet).

The event will take place in the Woodrow Wilson Center in Prague (Tržiště 13, Malá Strana, about 50m below the Embassy) on Tuesday, November 15 at 4 P.M. The discussion will be held in English and Czech (simultaneous translation provided).

Admission is free of charge and we warmly welcome all of those with professional or personal interest in the topic.

Americké informační centrum při Velvyslanectví Spojených států v Praze si Vás dovoluje pozvat na panelovou diskuzi na téma „Polistopadová ČR americkýma očima“, která se uskuteční v úterý 15. listopadu v 16:00 v pražském Woodrow Wilson centru (Tržiště 13, Malá Strana cca 50 m pod velvyslanectvím). Panelisté budou v ČR delší dobu žijící Američané z různých profesních odvětví, např. Megan King z organizace Člověk v tísni, Weston Stacey (AmCham) nebo Erik Best (Fleet Sheet).

Diskuze bude vedena anglicky a česky, simultánní tlumočení je zajištěno.
