AMBASSADOR CABANISS ACCOMPANIES CZECH PRESIDENT TO THE U.S.

 William Cabaniss and Vaclav Klaus
Ambassador Cabaniss accompanied Vaclav Klaus, the Czech President, on his visit to the U.S. this week. During his visit, Vaclav Klaus met high-level U.S. Government representatives (Vice President Cheney, Secretary Rice, and Deputy Secretary Zoellick) and also a unique exhibition of Czech Gothic art in the Metropolitan Museum.

It is president Klaus´second visit to the U.S. this year. He visited the United States in March already and had a brief meeting with President George W. Bush on that occasion as well.
